Home-Start » About Us
We are part of the national network of Home-Start and benefit from the training, information and guidance they offer to Home-Start schemes. However we are completely independent, with our own board of trustees and responsible for our own funding.
Home-Start Kirklees was set up in 1998 and is a registered charity, and a company limited by guarantee.
We have around 70 volunteers who come from all walks of life who either serve as trustees on our management board, support families in the families' own homes, help with our family groups or help us to fundraise.
We offer support to families throughout Kirklees, regardless of where they live, and to all communities within Kirklees.
